I have been having serious problems with my CPAP mask injuring my nose, and I tried this gel mask considering I read on the internet that it was one of the most comfortable. It is well made and fits well over my nose and mouth, but the gel inside the mask did cipher to protect my nose from injury. But I have found a truthful total-face mask at Straight Home Medical that is working for me. It required a prescription to buy, so I provide the contact information for my pulmonary doctor. A few days later and just in time for my visit to the dermatologist, the new mask arrived. I have been using the new mask for about a calendar week, and my nose has cleared upward. I have been having trouble with my masks leaking after I was given dentures. I take to wearable the headgear so tight the straps don't last very long. I tried the ComfortGel Blue Total Face CPAP Mask with Headgear with hopes this would help. Fifty-fifty new I was non able to stop it from leaking. After trying this mask I asked my Doctor what to do. I actually told me what I was doing was the right thing to practice. Try different masks. At the present time I am trying a nasal pillow mask. But having problem with that because I try to showtime breathing out of my mouth. Then get a chin strap and tape. With those 3 things I am able to slumber through the night without my dentures.

I have been using cpap for nearly twenty years. Most time to keep the noise down I would take parts from a mirage and install in on your masks. Along the way I got one of the first comfort gel masks and used information technology for about v years. Hey they don't wear out. I am also using a machine for over ix years and it still does fine. I would get a new i only the slumber clinic lost my prescription and my insurance will not pay for a new one nor a new sleep study. No matter,, the sometime ane is running merely fine. The new comfortgel mask is so quiet I don't take to alter it. It fits dainty and doesn't make a lot of noise as it expells the air, similar they did at one fourth dimension. The merely affair I would change on the organization is the headgear bands. The will not stay down on the back of my head and during the night I take to go on pulling the height ones down. I plant a wonderful head band several years ago at a yardsale, believe it or non. Ii wide heavy elastic bands that crossed in the dorsum with but an inch yoke betwixt them they stayed put all night. Used them for years till they wore out completely. I think your engineers should apply a human head for a model and not a telephone pole, for a design. Other than that I will continue to use the ComfortGel mask, I don't intendance what color the gel is!!

I was disappointed in this mask. The bridge of my nose was sore after wearing just i night. The headgear was difficult to use due to how is was continued to the mask. I have a So Make clean 2 and found the headgear difficult and frustrating to remove and reattach. I did return and will keep to use my current mask. The ComfortGel should exist a good idea only the blueprint of the headgear was very disappointing.

The mask works well for me, all the same, there and then many factors that enter into the equation information technology is difficult to say, what works well for ane person does not for another. I accept tried both the nasal and the full confront and prefer the total face. If you move around a lot the seal with your face can be broken and wake you up with air bravado in your optics. It takes a lot of adjusting (trial and error)to get the mask just right to allow you stay asleep. I have also tried 1 other make of full face mask and it worked equally well with the same getting it to fit just right bug. Don't requite upwards it takes some getting use to and some nights it only doesn't work no matter how difficult you try. Only remember nil works perfectly, if it was you wouldn't need the damn affair to begin with.

I used for ii months and after having to wear a rough-and-tumble across my olfactory organ every night (the span of my olfactory organ stayed irritated and got blisters) and my skin below my olfactory organ stayed irritated (I had to put antibody foam on my skin at night)I ordered the nasal pillows which work much meliorate.

Mask was very comfy when tried on. Washed it and air dried it before utilise. Noticed a mold smell every time I entered the room where it was drying. I thought the odor was coming from something else. When I put information technology on my face that dark, I discovered it was the mask! I was so disappointed because the seal was perfect and it felt and so good on. Tried to air it out by letting the motorcar accident air through information technology for hours, as a rep. suggested, but to no avail. I take to return it . Maybe it's the chemicals in the gel or how long it's been stored.

I have used a res med full face and I wear a large. The large version of this mask is more like a medium so I gave it away. Also the strap attachments get twisted and take a while to go on.

.Condolement Gell Total Face CPAP Mask
Toll was very good. It has a lot of moving parts for fit and comfort but I am concerned about its durability. First time using this specific mask. It is comfortable to clothing which is very of import but time will tell if all the moving parts stand to wear. I am particularly concerned with the black plastic lower strap hooks. If one of those two hooks breaks the mask is toast. No fashion to go along the lower straps tight against your face. I'm already trying to figure out what I will use to necktie in those frail hooks when one breaks and I have to assume one will break in fourth dimension. I recommend that the manufacturer redesign those hooks.

.Bad mask
Totally uncomfortable. Could not sleep with this mask. Pressure to nose of bridge was extremely excessive.

Unable to become mask to seal. Practical plenty pressure to the straps to crusade indented sore spit on nose. The straps are not elastic and then there is no requite requiring te extra tight fit

.Actually BAD MASK
Great softness, but when CPAP pressures ramp upwards the mask begins to leak and the leakage is very noisy. The leaks can exist stopped Only when tightened to the point of the back strap severely cut into your cervix. BAD Purchase !!!

not as good as i hoped nevertheless get leaks when stirring effectually in my sleep and trying to adjust and tighten head straps very sore on nose after a few days a little better than some but a long way to go on working on seal around face and head gear a better more softer seal around the mask is needed

Finding the right Cpap mask can be quite a job. I started with a nasal mask, only to learn, my mouth opens while I slumber. This resulted in high leak rates and a dry mouth. I next went to the total face up mask, ComfortGel Blue, which caused a sore at the bridge of the nose, and I was not able to achieve a good seal. I will now try a Hybrid mask which should resolve the fit problem at the olfactory organ span. Once I discover the right fit, I will be a happy camper!

This seems to be a well built product. My trouble was every time I turned over the mask hit the pillow, or mattress, and this pulled it open. tightening information technology enough to end this made information technology uncomfortable.

I thought total face masks were designed for people that tin can't exhale through their noses. This mask forces my oral fissure shut and even pushes my jaw back which makes my apnea worse than if I were not wearing any kind of CPAP device

.Besides many leaks
The mask was comfortable, but at high pressures I could not stop continual leaks virtually my nose, regardless of how I adjusted it. Too when laying on my side on a pillow, the leaks would increase with the usual unpleasant auditory sounds of escaping air. This annoyed my wife considerably by waking her. Wish it would have worked for me.

.Difficult fit
I have used Respionics total face CPAP mask for 10 years, but the discontinued the version I used. This is my offset gel mask and finding it hard to get a good seal without making the mask uncomfortably tight a cross the span of my olfactory organ. Afterwards 10 days, I am still trying to adjust the mask to fit comfortably and maintain a seal.

.Terrible Fit
I have now tried a lot of masks but this is by far the worst one I have tried. The one affair that makes this mask so bad is that the gel is so long and thin that is just collapses and it was impossible for me to get a fit that would not leak. If the gel was thicker and shorter so that it would stand against the face I recall this would be a very skilful mask.

.A Miracle!
This mask is a approval! A miracle, really! I take tried six different styles of total-face mask, all of which leak air terribly, blowing air into my optics! This mask does not do that. I usually sleep all night long without waking up due to air leaks. This mask is fabulous! A peachy feature is that information technology blows the exhaled air directly upwardly, away from my husband. Nosotros can once once more cuddle in bed! Mask stays in place fifty-fifty though I am a side-sleeper and turn a lot during my sleep. This mask is so comfy, I forget I have it on!

I could not get the mask to seal very well. When I got a expert seal it was too tight and hurt the bridge of my nose. I tried information technology for ii weeks just could not get information technology to piece of work for me. I did like the feel of the face mask which had a dainty thick gel layer.
